FutureDTC has opened the door to the European single market. At DTC we are prepared to meet the new demands of the single European market. Everything points in the direction of an ever-increasing amount of goods. New roads are being built, and DTC's strategic position has been strengthened by the building of the Jutland motorway network. DTC will have a central position in the transfer of goods in Denmark and between the new Europe and Scandinavia.
Quality - the gauge of the future In the future, quality will be an even more important factor than it is today.
Quality, not only in the end product, but also on the product's journey from raw material to the consumer. In everything that takes place at a company. This is also true at DTC.
That is why we have already taken the quality standards of the future into account. ISO 9000 certification will be an integral part of the work carried out at DTC. Thus, DTC will continue to be an attractive partner for all the businesses striving to meet future requirements.
Communication technology of the future is built in Not only do goods have to be moved faster and faster, communication in connection with this movement must also be good enough to ensure correct transfer every time. DTC is at the forefront. Direct communication with IBM's information network has been built in throughout the centre. The same facilities are available to customers and other DTC visitors at the telecentre.
DTC-U - Centre for transport training Developments within the transport sector place greater demands on the training of employees in the trade. DTC considers this a vital factor and has, therefore, joined with Vejle Business College, Vejle Technical College, The Transport Trade's Educational Fund, The Hauliers Employer's Association and SID [The General Union of Workers] in offering targeted training at the centre.
The establishment of DTC-U A/S and the transport management training course are the first steps. The course includes important elements, among others, business management for hauliers, economics, optimization of material assets, transport legislation and the environment. The course, which has received the approval of the Ministry of Transport, is qualifying in accordance with the Goods Transport Act and is also directed at both the employees and owners of transport companies. DTC-U A/S is part of a developing environment and will offer new courses as well as various special courses on a regular basis. In cooperation with institutions in other EU countries, DTC develops transport-related courses aimed at training international transport agents. In the long term, the aim is to become a training centre for the entire transport sector. |
